Start with what stays and what goes

A clearance should begin with an agreed list, not assumptions. Identify furniture, personal belongings, documents and anything needing a separate decision. For an estate or shared ownership, confirm who can authorise removal before arranging the job.

  • Separate items to keep, remove or review.
  • Photograph the rooms and larger items to help explain the scale.
  • Flag stairs, parking, lifts and restricted access.
  • Tell us about unusual materials or hazards before requesting a quote.

An agreed scope for the whole job

The quote depends on the volume, type of items, access and disposal requirements. We confirm the clearance arrangements and appropriate providers for the instruction. Specialist or hazardous materials require separate assessment; they are not assumed to be part of a standard clearance.

Responsible removal matters

Ask who will transport the waste, check the relevant registration and agree the destination and paperwork appropriate to the job. Registration alone does not establish that every type of material can be accepted. Do not assume the registered office of a business is a disposal site.

From cleared to ready

Once the unwanted items are removed, we can bring together cleaning, agreed repairs, inventories or photography. This avoids booking the final clean before the rooms are accessible. Residential clearance enquiries are welcome across Surrey and nearby Sutton and Cheam; commercial premises have their own preparation service.

USEFUL TO KNOW

Your questions, answered.

Can you help clear an inherited property?

Yes. We agree access, authority and the items to retain before work starts. Valuations of valuable contents or legal questions need the appropriate specialist.

Are all items included?

No. The accepted items and any exclusions are agreed in the quotation. Tell us about chemicals, asbestos concerns, electrical items or other materials requiring special handling.

Can cleaning follow the clearance?

Yes. We can quote and plan the two services together, with cleaning after the agreed removal work.
